Fertiplus® Organic compound Fertilizer 12-1-0 is the ideal choice to provide sufficient nitrogen to the crop and to stimulate growth. Nitrogen is the element most required by plants. About 1-5% of the plants dry weight consists of N. Nitrogen is used to form proteins, DNA, chlorophyll, phytohormones and secondary metabolites. Thus, nitrogen is essential for plant growth and functioning. Plants limited in N show stunted growth and eventually chlorosis leading to yield loss. This fertilizer would be applicable before a growth burst in order to ensure plants with adequate nitrogen. Next to the N present in this fertilizer also trace elements are present to ensure the total spectrum for the plants. This fertilizer contains no potassium. This is ideal for soils high in potassium, of soils where a lot of manure or compost is used with high potassium.
