At Den Ouden Groep, safety is more than a term, it is a shared responsibility. Accidents can happen in a small corner, not only at work but also at home. It is therefore important to work together on a safe working environment, so that the people waiting for you at home do not have to worry. Safety is and is becoming increasingly important for Den Ouden. For this reason, we have drawn up a safety policy. Below we have briefly explained the main points.
Sustainable employability; The well-being of yourself and others
- Too much stress is not good and can lead to complaints or problems. If you experience this, discuss this with a colleague or manager
- Stress can manifest itself in several ways. Make sure it doesn't get too much for you. This can also lead to industrial accidents
- Take care of each other and offer a listening ear to colleagues
- Report to your colleagues or manager if the work becomes too much or if you need help. Together you can do more than alone
Behaviour; stay decent, minimize disturbance
- Do not make unnecessary noise on the construction sites
- Ensure that traffic can pass the construction site
- Stay correct to the environment
Safety; safe for yourself, colleagues and the environment
- Carry out a LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis)
- Wear the correct PPE (helmet, vest, safety shoes, etc.)
- Always report dangerous situations, near misses and accidents to your manager
Nature; prevent pollution, take natural values into account
- Be aware of nature on and around the project
- Store hazardous substances in the designated storage
- Separate waste and have it disposed of separately
Hygiene; personal hygiene and clean, tidy workplace
- Provide a tidy workplace
- Never block exits, walking routes, gates, conveyor cranes and safety equipment
- Always have injuries treated by an emergency response officer
