Ter gelegenheid van Landelijke Opschoondag zijn enthousiaste collega’s van Den Ouden in Schijndel op pad gegaan met afvalzakken en grijpers.
Schijndel, March 22 2024 - On Saturday March 23 it is national clean-up day, a yearly initiative in which we prioritize the cleaning up of strayed trash and sharing knowlegde about a clean environment. And ofcourse also at den ouden we got busy cleaning. As a company that processes green waste streams, we know more than anyone how important it is that there is no stray trash laying around in the open air.
On occasion of the national clean-up day some enthousiastic colleagues got to work with garbage bags and grippers during the break. Together they cleaned up surrounding streets and roadside verges in the area of the head office of Den Ouden.
Den Ouden Organic, one of the five divisions of Den Ouden, processes green waste streams into circular solutions for potting soil and substrate sector, agriculture and horticulture, public space and energy sector. To bring as green and clean final products as possible back into the chain, it is essential that the public green places do not have any littered garbage laying around.
