Soil remediation

An important core activity of Den Ouden Aannemingsbedrijf is soil remediation with associated soil investigation and (demolition) work. Soil remediation is the process by which a piece of land is cleared of soil contamination. There are several techniques for clearing contaminated soil:

In situ: soil remediation without earthmoving, the contamination is removed from the site on site.
On site: soil remediation in which the contaminated soil is excavated, cleaned on site and returned.
Ex situ: soil remediation in which contaminated soil is excavated and removed for treatment and/or processing elsewhere.
The choice for one of these techniques depends on various factors, such as the location, the nature/severity of the pollution and the destination of the location. However, before soil remediation can begin, a soil survey is required. We are now very adept at this work and have extensive experience with soil remediation.
