Redesign of Made center

Client: Municipality of Drimmelen

Implementation period: March 2020 to November 2020

In the heart of Made, Den Ouden Aannemingsbedrijf has redesigned the Markstraat, Kerkstraat, Molenstraat, Valkenbergplein and Molenplein. The Marktstraat is characterized by the avenue structure of monumental Zilverlinden. The adjacent Molenplein is furnished with a fountain and can also serve as a market location. The furnishing is in line with the overall center vision.

This project has Den Ouden Aannemingsbedrijf B.V. designed and realized in collaboration with the chain partners, the Municipality of Drimmelen and Ingenieursbureau Jens in a construction team in accordance with the model agreement VGBouw 1992.

The project was awarded on the basis of the best price-quality ratio, with three 10s and one 8 respectively for the vision on collaboration within the Construction team, BLVC plan, risk management, opportunities and an interview with the key officer, being the project leader. In the construction team, the reference design drawn up has been elaborated by the construction team into a sustainable, high-quality and technically feasible implementation design and realized accordingly.
