Douglas Conifer Bark is made from Douglas conifer trees. Not only does Douglas Conifer Bark protect the soil from frost and weeds, but as a protective layer it also reduces evaporation of moisture from the soil. This makes moisture available to the plant for longer and more easily. In addition, Douglas Conifer Bark is suitable as a potting soil material, where it provides structure improvement and a higher water buffering capacity. This bark has an odour-absorbing effect, which makes it extremely suitable as a ground cover in animal shelters.

Processing instructions

When used as ground cover in public gardens: apply Douglas Conifer Bark in a 5cm layer. When used in animal shelters: apply Douglas Conifer Bark in a 30cm layer.
