Epicea Conifer Bark is a pine bark from the Belgian Ardennes. Not only does Epicea Conifer Bark protect the soil against frost and weeds, but as a protective layer it also reduces evaporation of moisture from the soil. This makes moisture available to the plant for longer and more easily. In addition, Epicea Conifer Bark is suitable as a raw material for potting soil, where it ensures structural improvement and a higher water buffering capacity. This bark has an smell-absorbing effect, which makes it extremely suitable as a ground cover in animal shelters.
