Characteristics
Tree bark Pin Maritime (Maritime pine from France, Spain or Portugal) has a long life due to its hard structure and is therefore extremely suitable as a biofilter material. In addition, the Pine Maritime is a popular tree bark as ground cover because of its color and appearance. This product can be supplied in different fractions. These fractions can be divided into: fine (0 – 20 mm), medium (20 – 40 mm) and coarse (20 – 80 mm). The fine variety is often used as a structure material in various substrate mixtures, the medium variety can be used as a ground cover, shock absorber, for hiking trails and animal enclosures, and finally, the coarse variety is often used as a biofilter.

The bark can be packed in bulk, big bags, big bale and bagged in 50, 60 or 70 liter bags.

Pin Maritime can also be supplied as substrate raw material with RHP certificate!
