Product properties

Tree Sand 300 BRL provides growth space for trees under lightly loaded surfaces such as sidewalks and open surfaces. The mixture is composed of sand in fraction 300 and is enriched with organic matter and nutrients. Tree Sand 300 BRL has a high organic matter content, which increases the water buffering capacity of the soil. The organic matter is also a food source for beneficial bacteria and fungi, which release nutrients for the plant.

The fraction ensures good water and air management of the growing area. This makes it a product that promotes the root penetration of tree growing areas and is therefore climate adaptive. Tree Sand 300 BRL guarantees less root pressure from the pavement in the long term compared to regular sand.

Quality

Tree Sand 300 BRL is nearly free of perennial weeds and soil foreign components and is produced and supplied with the BRL 9335-4 quality mark. It also meets the value for clean soil and the requirements of the Standard RAW 2020.

Processing instructions

Apply Tree Sand 300 BRL in layers (per 40-50 cm). Press lightly per layer to a maximum of 1.5 MPA without driving into the planting hole with machines. Apply Tree Sand 300 BRL at least 10cm above GHG / groundwater level. Do not process under wet conditions or frost.
