Vertimulch

Soil compaction or tillage create stressful conditions for plants. The addition of mycorrhiza and rhizobacteria restores the utilisation of roots and improves stress tolerance. PHC Vertimulch aerates the soil and realises new root formation. The combination of mycorrhiza and rhizobacteria restores the essential biology that has been disrupted by soil compaction. Studies show that growth differences are significant in the long term. This is due to the greater uptake range, nutrient density and access to capillary water.

Application/dosage

Drill holes: ± 8 cm and 25-30 cm deep85 grams/hole

Drilling distance: 75 cm

Treatment: /m²10 kg/70 m²

Instructions for using an engine drill

1. Remove leaves and mulch layer from the area to be drilled.
2. Make a pile of 85 grams of PHC Vertimulch. (One measuring spoon)
3. Drill straight through the Vertimulch to a depth of 25-30 cm.
4. Mix the Vertimulch with the soil by moving the drill up and down through the borehole 2 to 3 times.
5. Close the drilled hole again.
6. Finish and level off.

Instructions for using an hand/pole auger

1. Drill the holes as indicated above.
2. Put the soil in a wheelbarrow.
3. Mix 85 grams of Vertimulch with the soil from each drilled hole thoroughly. (85 grams x number of holes)
4. Fill the holes with this mixture from the wheelbarrow and pound it with a stick.

 

Use in combination with other (PHC) products

PHC Vertimulch can be used with all PHC fertilisers, PHC soil conditioners and PHC plant enhancers. Application of Fulvic 25 and PHC Myconate enhance the effect of PHC Vertimulch.

Packaging, transport & storage

PHC Vertimulch is supplied in a 10 kg box. Product attracts moisture. Store closed, dry, free of UV light, between 0°c and 30°c.
Shelf life: 2 years.
