Brabant Water makes every effort to reduce the arsenic content in drinking water to below 1 µg/l, while the WHO guideline is < 10 µg/l. That is why Brabant Water is realizing a new installation in Oosterhout that reduces the arsenic content in drinking water to <1µg/l and thus produces purer drinking water. The Civil Concrete Construction specialists of Den Ouden Infra carry out this complete project. In this way, Den Ouden Infra contributes to healthy and safe drinking water in the area.

In addition to the construction work, the mechanical engineering and the process and electrical installations are part of the project. Preparations for the project started in mid-November. The project is expected to run until the end of 2024.

This project shows how progressive Brabant Water is: by lowering the arsenic content even lower than prescribed by regulations, the drinking water becomes even safer. As a family business, we have no choice but to contribute to this. Healthy and safe drinking water is essential to pass on the living environment more sustainably to future generations.
